YUTTE STENSGAARD NECKING HAMMER'S 'LUST FOR A VAMPIRE'

Following 1970's THE VAMPIRE LOVERS and second in what's deemed The Karnstein Trilogy, Hammer continued putting the then-modern exploitation-cinema sensibilities back into their signature Victorian Age Horror with LUST FOR A VAMPIRE involving lots of nudity, some near-lesbianism and even borderline psychedelia.... at least in one dream by this vampire film's good/innocent guy, a bland writer investigating a girls' school full of bitten beauties that provides the potentially sensuous premise that's the sole reason this movie's a movie at all...
Yet VAMPIRE never goes further than wanton eye candy... a shame since former Hammer (and Amicus) starlet Suzanne Leigh's around to intensely attempt keeping younger and insanely gorgeous Yutte Stensgaard from falling for the guy (not interesting enough for a potential love-triangle or that titular LUST) who's investigation should have led to spookier scenes that are all dressed up (or taking off their clothes) with absolutely nowhere to go.
