At that point Reynolds had famously played another half-Indian on GUNSMOKE, more brooding than dynamic... here voraciously killing white men (played by extremely Italian actors with god-awful dubbing) who massacred his village...
But other than Reynolds and ingenue Nicoletta Machiavelli both looking as fantastic as the sprawling landscapes, this otherwise average JOE is all dressed down with nowhere to go but violent blood-spattered circles: which isn't so shabby for a ferociously-energetic ninety-minute ride.
