Our favorite actor is Dana Andrews and favorite director is Jacques Tourneur, making either DEMON a favorite horror that combines American cinema thrills and leading man, a French auteur and everything else belongs to the British including locations (including Stonehenge), character-actors and leading lady, Peggy Cummins...

As for the two versions, well... the comparisons between NIGHT and CURSE actually have little merit since the original cut existed for both... and when the shorter, scene-shuffled version came out, it was mistaken to have ONLY been edited for the American CURSE when in reality, both CURSE and England's NIGHT were altered in the same fashion...

So basically what's been lost in the mix is both Britain's edited second version and America's unedited original version. Which are two in the same... each time.
