We all know MICHAEL MCKEAN from SPINAL TAP started as Lenny on LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY. But on the third season the other Tappers turned up: HARRY SHEARER as a newscaster and CHRISTOPHER GUEST as a med student supporting Nixon: unlike Laverne (and the show's writers, producers, directors, and Hollywood).

Later, Laverne and Shirley meet the boys at a bus stop and find out they're womanizers (like JFK!). And at the end of the episode, the main cast sings a tune with McKean on acoustic guitar. And not "Big Bottom."
